1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
2 T water
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup Nestle Toll House baking cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil allowing excess to hang over the edges to allow for easy removal. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir together sugar, butter, and water. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add to wet ingredients and stir well to combine. Stir in the 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spread into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 18-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan. Remove brownies from pan by lifting out using foil overhang. Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips. Enjoy!
